DEWETRON systems are ideal for race car testing applications, especially when dynamic measurements must be made. There are other systems on the market which are made for static and slow measurements, and they do their job very well. But if you need powerful, easy to use systems with high bandwidth, for example - up to 70 kHz or more - look at the DEWE-101 for in-vehicle measurements, and portable systems like the DEWE-3200 for test cell measurements.

How do we fit in?
There are a number of nice systems already widely used for race car applications, and we don’t mean to replace them. But they are made predominently for low-sample rate acquisition applications, i.e., 1 kS/s/ch maximum. That is fine for many applications, but not for dynamic measurements. This is where Dewetron comes in! Systems like the DEWE-101 (pictured here) offer sampling up to 200,000 samples per second per channel, continuous to disk! So you can perform all manner of noise and vibration testing, and get the kind of results that you expect from a DSA.
