DEWETRON makes systems that are compact and rugged enough for use inside all kinds of tactical wheeled vehicles. Today’s state of the art vehicles incorporate more and more analog and digital measurements, more electrical, power, and hydraulic systems which can interact than ever before. There are CAN BUS interfaces (usually 4 or more) which have hundreds of parameters that should be recorded. Dewetron systems have the isolated analog conditioning needed to handle a wide range of input types e.g. for voltage, strain, temperature... and up to eight isolated CAN BUS interfaces per system.

in addition, these applications require the recording and display of GPS positioning and time information, as well as VIDEO - visual spectrum, low-light, or infra-red. And don’t forget about MIL-STD-1553 data buses - Dewetron systems can record it all in sync, continuously. Solid state hard drives and MIL-STD-810F construction are used to ensure that Dewetron systems meet the challenges of these demanding vehicle test applications.

DEWE-3143 - the ultimate portable system
All new for 2010, the DEWE-3143 features eight 200 kS/s/ch SIMULTANEOUSLY SAMPLED inputs, with 24-bit resolution, anti-aliasing filters, and more. This all-in-one platform has a built-in Core2Duo computer, 15” touchscreen display, ethernet, USB, etc. the 250 GB HDD is a removable one - so there is no internal HDD! The inputs are UNIVERSAL types which can handle strain, pressure, voltage, IEPE accels and mics, charge sensors, thermocouples, RTDs, and more. In addition, there are two built-in CAN bus interfaces and 8 synchronous counter/encoder inputs.

You can add VIDEO, GPS (from 1 to 100 Hz update rate), IRIG time code, and more. The DEWE-3143 runs for up to 2 hours from its own internal hot-swappable batteries, so
you don’t even need to plug it in! or power it from 10 to 32 volts via our isolated DC-DC converter (an AC/DC converter is standard).
