CAPS

DEWETRON Driver Assistance system is called CAPS (Combined Active and Passive Safety). These systems are used for developing and evaluating CAPS features such as driver assistance, comfort and active safety systems. Together with TÜV SÜD Automotive and GeneSys Elektronik GmbH we have developed an application package for standardized maneuvers, to test and evaluate a wide range of CAPS features. Key requirements:
  • Integrated physical measurement with precise position data
  • Ability to record CAN BUS and GYRO PLATFORM data
  • Can record VIDEO in sync with all of the data
  • Rugged, in-vehicle form factors

Combustion analysis

Road Load test

DEWETRON Road Load Data (RLD) systems are used to record road load data during real test drives or at test rigs – either for a whole vehicle or certain components. The measured data can be re-played on a testbed to simulate all forces and vibrations in the laboratory. As an option, DEWETRON RLD systems can be equipped with a real time analog output for testbed integration. Here are some key criteria for this application:
  • Networkable - connect PFRs anywhere and everywhere
  • High isolation voltage and current inputs
  • Database engine for distributed systems and event logging
