The DEWE-214 is our top of the line IN VEHICLE testing instrument. It’s small size and power system were specifically designed for mobile/vehicle applications. It’s quite at home in your car, truck, motorcycle, tank, military vehicle, train, boat, NASCAR vehicle....

The DEWE-214 has been engineered to provide a great combination of data acquisition power in a robust mechanical package.

It has the highest shock and vibe ratings of any DEWE instrument in its class, and the widest operating temperature range.

It is equally at home in a huge combine, on a train, strapped to the back of a motorcycle, in a military vehicle, inside a race car … basically anything with wheels or treads, moving on or off the road. Bumps, shocks, frozen mornings at 10,000 feet, or in the desert at 120°F in the shade (and there's no shade!).

Trust the DEWE-214 to collect your analog, digital, CAN BUS, GPS, and even VIDEO data in all of these scenarios.

DEWE-214-STG with 1, 20, or 100 Hz GPS
This model features our most FLEXIBLE analog inputs, based on the MDAQ-STG conditioner. They can natively handle any kind of bridge or strain gage, with completion for half and quarter bridge sensors and various wiring methods, amp and sensor balance, and so much more. You can input ±10V directly. Using our MSI-BR series adapters you can also input IEPE accels and mics, charge sensors, thermocouples (J, K, T, C), RTD sensors (Pt100, 200, 500, 1000), voltages up to ±200V. We also offer ADAP series adapters for 4-20 mA sensors and simple BNC adapters.

The STG series is the more flexible of the two basic DEWE-214 models.

DEWE-214-ACC with 1, 20, or 100 Hz GPS
This model is made specifically to handle IEPE (ICP) accelerometers, and features 8 dynamic inputs. Each input can handle an IEPE sensor, and provides the constant current to power it, as well as AC/DC coupling and HP filtering. Each input can also handle voltages up to ±10V (selectable on a channel by channel basis). Choose the DEWE-214-ACC when your primary application focus will be noise / sound / vibration or low voltage measurement, in sync with CAN BUS and GPS (both are included).
